L Some damn fine stuff here, it's like old progressive rock and modern avant-garde post-metal melted together in a perfect mix. If you can leave your mortal body for a while and immerse in these ethereal soundscapes you'll sure be rewarded.

PaulTheOwl/Ripper/MxBv Absolutely stunning work, even if this was pre-written and meticulously recorded, it would still be a fantastic journey, but to add in the knowledge that it is just going with the flow improvisation makes it even more special (as someone who does a lot of improvisation work).

Lush atmospheres blanket this recording, so, give Kajgūn your trust and immerse yourself in this.

Brilliant to see the YouTube video of it as well. Favorite track: Chapter I Pt 4 - Ofa Noussa.

Fuzzy Cracklins (The Swamp Records) Crushing riffs with ethereal theremin and jazz tones delivered as improv. Absolutely mind-blowing! Sound quality is off the hook, too. Favorite track: Chapter II Pt 2 - Wa’Yokanhe.

about

Kajgūn Budapest, Hungary

We are the punks of jazz metal. We’re on a mission to reformulate jazz using the elements of metal and world music, putting the emphasis on beauty and riffs, embracing total improvisation.

Our sound is about heaviness mixed with reverberated melodies of violin, saxophone, synths, and theremin, influenced by bands such as Shining (NOR), King Crimson, and Tangerine Dream.
